Role on the Team (Job Responsibilities):

  • High level performance of water mitigation, tarping, board up and mold according to Rumsey and industry specifications under the supervision of the Mitigation Manager or Lead Technician.
  • Focus and dedication to providing excellent customer service.
  • Maintain a clean, properly stocked and organized truck and maintain all company equipment.
  • Be accessible by phone and participate, as necessary, in the on-call schedule.
  • Assist in warehousing and facility related tasks when necessary.
  • You will assist other team members as you see opportunities arise and be a leader for the team when needed.

Team Qualifications (Requirements):

  • Skilled at step flashing.
  • Skilled at brick or masonry flashing.
  • Able to do basic tarping to protect against damage.
  • Able to do minor framing or wood deck replacement.
  • Can do a shingle installation.
  • Can replace pipe boots.
  • Work at heights and steeper pitches as needed.
  • Ability to lift 75 LBS frequently.
  • Ability to be on-call, if needed.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Clean criminal background check.
  • Valid driver’s license.

Role on the Team (Job Responsibilities):

  • Be proficient in roofing related duties and skills.
  • Emergency tarp to protect an area until an estimate and scope of work/cost are approved.
  • Reflashing around a chimney and redoing step flashing.
  • Repairing minor protrusion in roof from tree limb puncture (some minor carpentry and roofing repair).
  • Replacing pipe boots and the surrounding area of shingles as needed.
  • Performing roof inspection to determine extent of damage or potential scope of work recommendations while working with the Project Manager.
  • Replacing large areas of shingles due to long term leak issues, and at times, helping to scout out the leak source.
  • Establish and maintain a schedule to ensure all services are delivered in a timely manner.
